  1. I miss snow. Most people in southwest Australia have never actually seen any. Live and in person, I mean. One of the many things we had to leave behind was our skiing and snowboarding gear. Your article has moved me to tears. Well, no, not really, but it made me homesick for Mt. Washington.

    • I miss summer. There are people on the Sunshine Coast who didn’t actually see the sun this summer. You live in the land of endless summer. One more summer like the last one and we’ll be joining you soon enough.
